Central drums for printing machines

The global economic crisis has led many companies to review their company and economic policies and to even resize annual investment in machinery and equipment.

To effectively address these changes, Artigiana Srl has, on the one hand, sought to enable greater collaboration with its customers in order to develop new products and innovative solutions that can make plants and systems more competitive, on the other it has ever further concentrated on production methods, trying to figure out how to combine savings and environmental friendliness.
This strategy has allowed the San Giorgio su Legnano (MI) based company to acquire new direct customers, supplying them with central drums for printing machines on the markets of the Far East, China and Central and Eastern Europe (in the photo an 8 color narrow web print central drum, supplied to the customer Finform of the Czech Republic).
Moreover, the close collaboration with two longstanding Italian customers (BFM and Expert) will allow the company to be present at Plast (BFM logo) and Drupa (Expert logo) where both concerns will be presenting an innovative 8 color printing machine, fitted with central drum supplied by Artigiana.
The commitment on the "green" front has also prompted the company to build and inaugurate a new 120 kW photovoltaic system, to generate electricity from renewable sources. In the face of certified cost savings, the company will avoid releasing 70 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere a year.
