Coffee capsules: innovation in sealing
Containing purchasing but also running costs of a system has become a must, and all users are evermore aware that controlling consumption and performance of a machine helps to reduce production costs.
This is why Tecmes designs and builds totally mechanical machines, that feature aboveall for their low consumption of electricity, thanks to the use of a single motor, and the minimum consumption of air, thanks to mechanical type movements and manipulations that is, with cam movements.
But there is more: the Vaiano Cremasco based company continues to seek opportunities for improvement and ensure the user of its machines concrete advantages of functionality and convenience. For this reason it can today present an innovatory re-design of a section of the machine for the production of coffee capsules and capsules for other soluble beverages. In a nutshell we are speaking of aluminium foil feed system used to seal the capsule, that optimizes the axial cross-cutting, reducing material waste down to a minimum(waste that indeed constitutes a resource in terms of recycling).
According to the builder’s estimates, between purchasing cost of new film and the revenue obtained from handing over the “spent” aluminium, right from the first year of usage, the recovery is a good 5% of the initial value of the machine. To this one should add the savings due to the low electrical and pneumatic consumption, and the economic advantages due to the machine’s high productivity.
