Award-winning melters. The Micron series of Meler Gluing Solutions has earned the Red Dot Product Design Award 2014 for innovative features, design and energy efficiency guaranteed in the hot melt procedures.

Beautiful and efficient. The new Micron Series melters with piston pump mark a significant milestone in the history of Meler Gluing Solutions, that devised the same thinking first of all of performance, without though neglecting ergonomics.

It was the joint work of industrial designers and technology centers that enabled the development of Micron piston pump melting units. Available in 5, 10, 20 and 35 litres, these latest generation Meler systems enable the optimization of energy consumption (guaranteeing up to 60% savings compared to other devices on the market) and ensure full efficiency of melting and pumping.

Precise and regular. With the Micron Series, hot-melt treatment is extremely accurate: thanks to the homogeneous temperature distribution, there are no excessive heat points that can damage the adhesive. The meticulous design of the tank/pump/pneumatic unit ensures maximum regularity of pumping.

Practical. Micron intelligently combines the elements of a modern and functional design that can be integrated into any system. The use of the equipment is simple and intuitive (hence ideal in facilitating the work of any operator), helping to contain operating costs and stretch maintenance times. And maintenance is one of the strengths of these units: all one need do its to remove some screws to speedily and easily access the inner parts of the device. The largescale tank lid opens fully, simplifying filling and cleaning.

Safe. The design, development and the subsequent realisation of the Micron series centers on user safety: the outer casings always remain cool and the unit also has a valve to depressurize the adhesive pressure system in case of an alarm or shutdown.
