Expanded polyethylene is an impact resistant high performance material, soft but resistant, waterproof, resilient, light and versatile: for this reason, it proves particularly adapted to protecting and preserving industrial products or delicate surfaces against scratching and impact. Available in plates or reels, it can be easily glued, laminated to other materials or thermoformed to obtain “3D” objects destined for a wide range of uses. Lastly, it’s worth remembering that this material is widely used across the globe thanks to its reduced environmental impact and recyclability as a plastic.
