Robatech: specifically designed adhesives spreader heads.

The closed system and the hitech application heads are the elements that guarantee the quality of wraparound labeling, mainly used up to a few years ago on glass bottles, and now also widely used for those in PET.

Robatech specifically offers hotmelt systems for wraparound labelers, that ensure a precise and clean application. The technology that characterizes the spreader head (specifically designed) and the sophisticated electronic control ensures perfect application of the adhesive on bottles and containers, even at maximum speeds.
The efficiency of this technology is best expressed in the application of transparent PET labels: a no label look for bottles with a special appeal.

The system for precut labels. Stacked in the magazine, the precut labels are firmly glued on plastic and glass containers. In the initial phase the adhesive is sprayed on the bottle in many small droplets in a spiral pattern, the number of which varies according to the label format. The container, rotating, collects the label from the magazine while the spreader head with adjustable height applies a thin strip of glue to the final edge of the label that, positioned around the bottle, is pasted with precision where the edges overlap.
 
The roll-fed version. The spread of reel-fed labels has also led Robatech to experiment its labeling system in this type of application. Hence a non-contact Robatech system is now available, specifically designed for roll-fed labelers.
 
Accuracy, speed, economy. Unlike traditional roll systems (closed system with spreader head) Robatech applicators prevent contamination, evaporative emissions and carbonization of the adhesive.
Moreover, the hotmelt spray system facilitates rapid format changeover of containers and labels: ensuring rapid implementation and reduced maintenance. Lastly, the system is fast and easy to integrate on existing lines of applicators. In this regard, Robatech offers a comprehensive solution that includes all the components needed for the retrofit: spray head, spreader head, connections and tubes, a special support system and an integrated control of the application.
