Ideas to "clad" bottles

At Simei, Enoplastic presented a wide range of corks and capsules for wine, oil, sparkling wines and spirits. From the combination of creativity, innovation and technology come exclusive proposals capable of enhancing the product and making the difference.

The exclusive proposals of Enoplastic embody an original vision, in which technological innovation is at the service of beauty, style and functionality.

In the foreground, therefore, the innovations developed in the last two years by the Lombard company in terms of materials, but also of production techniques, printing and forming of capsules for wine and oil, capsules for sparkling wines...

Previews for the world of sparkling wines

For this product category, Enoplastic has designed Extrafit®, a special treatment to fix the capsule to the glass of the bottle, now a registered trademark and improved with a new formula.

With a perfect, clean look, without blemishes, no possibility of removing or rotating the capsule after application, tamper-evident and tamper-proof, each bottle neck “dressed” with Extrafit® certainly does not go unnoticed.

Also for the world of “bubbles”, In & Out arrives, a Derma* capsule (exclusive material developed by the company to replace the traditional polylaminate) printed and decorated on both sides, thanks to advanced machinery and know-how of excellence: a detail that makes the difference and enriches the consumer experience with a “surprise effect” when the bottle is opened, as well as witnessing a formal packaging care that gives added value to the product.

* Now no longer new, but a reference solution for the market (and for the environment), Derma is the high-tech material developed by Enoplastic and used in place of the common polylaminate to produce all the “rolled” capsules for still wine and spirits, as well as for the sparkling wine capsules.
Made with clean production processes, without the use of glues, Derma allows a reduction of almost 10% of CO2 emissions in the environment.

Among the previews presented at Simei and soon available , we also remember Ghea, the new “rounded head” for sparkling wine capsules, which perfectly follows the shape of the cage below and is presented without creases. Result of constant investments in research and development, it is the luxury version for all brands looking for a refined look for their wines.

The novelties for the world of sparkling wines also include the special Top 3.0 head which, thanks to the larger than standard surface, offers an extended decoration area and the possibility to hide the folds of the material in the upper part of the capsule.

Processing and materials for shrinkable capsules

As for the new proposals in the field of materials, BEES is the revolutionary film for heat-shrinkable capsules totally free of PVC, which confirms Enoplastic’s constant commitment to greater sustainability.

Still in the area of shrinkable capsules, we also point out Ghost, a particular “tear-off” opening (ie a vertical perforation made on the joint of the capsule). The solution is designed to enhance the T-caps - iconic “jewels” of some spirits - offering a secure but at the same time invisible guarantee seal, which does not compromise the aesthetics of the cap below. Also in this case, Enoplastic offers a functional product, capable of enhancing the beauty of the closures, without affecting the aesthetics.

Screw caps for all tastes

Enoplastic has recently invested in new machines both for the production and the decoration of 30x60 screw caps, a product that completes the offer of guarantee closures for the wine and spirits world. 24 colors in the catalog, always available, various decoration solutions, including the wonderful “Braille effect” relief screen printing, capable of offering tactile as well as aesthetic solutions. And then, hot stamping, various lacquers from the brightest to the super opaque, for every taste and every need.

LATEST NEWS. In January 2020 Enoplastic and Sparflex signed a strategic agreement, to consolidate their international influence while remaining local players - through their brands Enoplastic, Sparflex, Le Muselet Valentin, Rivercap, Maverick, Vintacap and Pacifix - and create a global leader in wine and spirits closure solutions.

The shareholders of both companies, namely the investment firm Cobepa, and the Moglia and Soutiran families, will remain heavily involved in supporting the Group. Michele Moglia is the CEO of this new group, while Pascal Soutiran retains his current responsibilities for France and Spain.

With 13 production sites in 6 countries and a commercial presence in more than 90 countries, the merge will support the common strategy of being as close as possible to markets, while expanding and enriching ranges of products and services. The pooling of human and industrial resources strengthens the ability to innovate, to be attentive and to put forward proposals to the customers and give them access to an ever more creative offer which is better suited to their needs.
