Modularity first and foremost
P.E. Labellers has provided French Wolberger wine producer two labelers for their new "Crémant" and still wine lines.
Given the many compositions of labeling required by the customer, the Porto Mantovano (MN) based company proposed the Modular model, with labeling modules that can be easily and quickly replaced while the system is running, in order to apply labels of different types (cold glue, roll-fed hot melt, precut hot melt, selfadhesive, preglued).
Due to its modular configuration, the machine can in fact be transformed without substantial mechanical changes, by simply switching, adding or removing a labeling module. The modules can work contemporaneously or be turned off when not needed for processing.
The labeling machines installed in the Wolfberger plant are equipped with integrated drive servo motors and photocel optical centering systems that also enable the orientation and labeling of specially shaped bottles.
