For a more sustainable packaging
Imballaggi PK is an Italian concern that has been on the market for 50 years, offering various solutions adapted for packaging and labeling in small runs, in the name of professionalism and quality.
A complete offer. At Ipack-Ima 2015 (Hall 10- Stand B28/C27), the concern is showing the various models of the EME line of gluers, all emphatically Made in Italy, robust, easy to use and highly versatile, adapted for use in a wide array of sectors, from preserves to paper, from wine to chemicals.
The company also distributes in Italy a wide range of gummed tape dispensers by the American company Better PackagesTM, a global leader in the sector. Completely in line with the official themes of Expo 2015, Imballaggi PK intends to promote, as a best practice for sustainable packaging, the use of rubberized paper, which, little by little, is coming to replace the more traditional plastic adhesive tapes.
Paper tape, in addition to being completely eco-friendly because it is 100% derived from renewable plant materials (cellulose for the support, potato starch for the adhesive), doesn’t just close but, fusing with the carton, serves as a tamper-proof seal.
Another distinctive feature of the concern’s offer are the removable glue dots of Glue Dots International (UK), of which Imballaggi PK is an exclusive distributor. This product is extremely well-adapted for application of coupons, samples, postcards in magazines, catalogs, mailers and much more. Glue DotsTM can be applied by hand or using Dot Shot Pro (gun) and Econodot (electric, tabletop) dispensers.
Also to be shown at the fair are the new, practical and economical line of dispensers for single and double-sided adhesive tapes, called Mini Tape, alongside the tested and robust PS2/As. Worth mention for its indispensability in the graphics and paper sector, but also useful in packaging for displays and protectors, is the Embatape 75, an automatic applicator for single and double-sided adhesive tapes, programmable with one or two applicator heads. This system will be on display and tested at the stand of the Vigevano-based concern.
