Smart Blow for custom drying

Developed and produced by FM, Smart Blow is the ideal diffuser for applications where all traces of moisture need to be removed from all surfaces of containers, including the areas that are most difficult to reach.

Smart Blow is an effective and compact drying system specially designed for the food, beverage and preserved product sectors, where drying is a common problem during pre-labelling and/or after steam sterilisation. Smart Blow is able to reach even the most difficult areas such as the upper parts of cans or the lower edges of jar or bottle caps, preventing the occurrence of rust during warehouse storage.

Combined with the Green Blow Plus fan, the diffuser offers numerous advantages:

• Effective drying: a single station is equipped with 2-3 diffusers (depending on the version) capable of drying all surfaces of the object;
• Small footprint: a single drying station has a footprint of just 600 mm;
• Versatility: the same diffuser can be used to dry objects with similar dimensions without having to change the configuration at each production change;
• Modularity: if the line speed does not allow for perfect drying with just one station, multiple stations can be combined in series until the optimal result is obtained;
• Simple installation: it can be mounted on existing lines. There is no need for dedicated components or specialist technicians;
• Low costs: due to its low energy consumption (approximately 1-2 kW per station), it is a cost-effective alternative to all currently existing solutions;
• Extremely low maintenance: the system does not require any special maintenance other than the replacement of the filter when necessary;
• Customisable: the shape of the final section of the diffuser can be customised according to the shape of the container that needs to be dried, including complex and unusual shapes.

Smart Blow is available in two versions: one for jars and cans (with three integrated diffusers) and one for bottles (two diffusers). The latter is available in both fixed and adjustable versions according to the system requirements.
