Sysmac, added value to machines

Omron passes the Entrec tests with its Sysmac platform.

When the Belgian constructor Entrec felt the need for a control system to retrofit its flow wrapper, it challenged Omron to develop a solution based on the Sysmac automation platform. Entrec provided a disassembled machine that the Omron technicians had to make completely functional.
The Omron project head, Edwin Denissen, says that the challenge enabled the accumulation of precious experience, enabling the demonstration of the full potential of the Sysmac control system:«We further increased our knowledge of the possibilities of the Sysmac automation platform for the control of the flow-wrapper and all our theories on its potential have been confirmed».
Alfred Hofstede of Entrec in turn commented: «The approach and the determination of Omron to get the machine working corresponds perfectly  to our philosophy. Reliability is fundamental in our sector, hence we cannot concede anything on this side».
With Omron among the partners for its control system, Entretec will be able offer its present and future customers  the opportunity of a greater flexibility. The entire story is on line at http://industrial.omron.it/it/solutions/packaging/customer-references/en....
