Tank-free hot glue dispensing

Graco (European headquarters in Maasmechelen, Belgium) proposes the InvisiPacTM dispensation system, with no melting tank.

Quick startup (less than 10 minutes) eliminates costly machine stops, while melting and dispensation designed to satisfy individual application requirements guarantee that the glue maintains a high temperature for less time, minimizing residues caused by scorching and material degradation. This also has another benefit: it reduces the possibility of nozzle blockage. In such a way, the system’s life is lengthened, and it requires less maintenance. The overall economy of InvisiPac is also caused by the fact that it guarantees impeccable performance even with low cost adhesives.

Here’s how it works: InvisiPac utilizes an integrated vacuum system to feed the glue granules into the in line melting chamber. A sensor monitors the glue in the melting chamber and, according to the needs of the individual application, more granules are automatically fed as needed. Thanks to an efficient heat transfer system, this solution has a melting capacity and adhesive range equivalent or superior to many tank-equipped systems, thus enabling continuous hot melt dispensation during production, which continues without interruption.
