Acque Minerali d’Italia doubles its share capital
Acque Minerali d’Italia (Norda, Sangemini, Gaudianello), the fourth largest Italian mineral water group and the second largest in the Horeca channel, has doubled its share capital with an injection of €15 million, including €12 million from shareholders.
The group’s aim is to make investments and new acquisitions following those of Gaudianello (2010) and Toka (2016) in Basilicata and Sangemini in Umbria (2014).
The group posted revenues of €69.4 million and net profits of €833,000 in 2017 and is looking to reposition the Sangemini brand, which was previously focused on the children’s bottled water segment.
Acque Minerali d’Italia has 9 brands with 27 production lines and around 400 employees throughout the country.
