The new plants, devoted to glass bottles and Tetra Pak cartons, complement the existing lines and guarantee an increase in annual production capacity of around 50 million bottles and more than 24 million cartons.

Together with the plant installed in late 2015, the Forlì factory will now have a production capacity of 1,200,000 pieces/day. The new glass and bioplastic bottling line, which will be used to bottle still and sparkling wines, can adapt to different bottle formats (from 0.187 to 2 litres) and is capable of handling up to 18,000 bottles/hour.

The Tetra Pak line is used exclusively for filling Prisma Square 0.5 litre cartons with still wines and has a capacity of 8,000 packs/hour.

The cooperative processes grapes grown by its 12,000 member winegrowers, who account for 10% of Italy’s annual grape production, and generates consolidated revenues of €315 million.
