Elba at K 2013: machines and services

Keen interest of the visitors for Elba SpA product offer at the world plastics and rubber fair. Spotlight on a new vacuum packing machine along with the latest version of their heatshrink welder, also featuring a bolstered R&D staff, capable of making made-to-measure, custom-built machines.

Without a doubt Elba can claim a positive balance for the Düsseldorf K held last October 16th-23th, all the more so considering that expectations were high. Operator attendance, considerable on the first day, further increased following that and all the preset objectives were met: to open new business opportunities and enhance the quality that has the Lombard concern stand out at international level.

State-of-the-art technology. K 2013 was a great opportunity for proposing the new SA-V vacuum pack machine along with the latest optimised version of the SA-V/TVB welder for heatshrink material.

These are two solutions that bear witness to both the levels of expertise attained in close on sixty years of company life, as well as the concern’s progressive redirection away from the carrier bag to the specific needs of other sectors, for which Elba designs and makes custom built machines.

The company’s attention to prevailing trends and user demands fully feature in the new SA-V, entirely equipped with Siemens components and completely controlled by Profinet communication protocol, that enables the monitoring in real time of all the accessories singly. The builder has conceived each and every accessory as servo-motorised, hence independent, and has engineered the SA-V to thus enable  customers to configure the same to their set needs.

Innovation, quality and environment. These are Elba’s growth drivers and this is aboveall shown by the quality of the components used and the constant search for innovatory solutions capable of facilitating the user, leading to a significant reduction in set-up and start-up times, maintenance needs and the machine payback period.

As well as that, well aware that energy costs are an ever growing burden for companies, Elba has equipped the new welder with components that enable the recovery of kinetic energy, thus guaranteeing considerable economic savings.

Highly versatile, technologically advanced, easy-to-use, thus allowing the user to achieve a broad range of top quality products, the two machines on show at K enjoyed a gratifying success that confirms the validity of the builder’s inclinations.
