Exponential growth for the Raja Group
In 2022 the RAJA Group recorded a growth in turnover of 43%, consolidating its positioning strategy in Europe as a multi-specialist distributor for the B2B market.
In a context characterized by a slowing down of the economy and by inflation, the RAJA Group has recorded a turnover growth of 43% on 2021, equal to 1,720 million euros, consolidating its positioning strategy in Europe as a multi-specialist distributor for the B2B market. These brilliant results have benefitted from the contribution of Viking, the distributor of office supplies and equipment acquired during the fourth quarter of 2021. Net of this acquisition, the turnover of the RJA Group, a leading operator in the distribution of packaging, would, in any case, have grown by 9.2%.
A product range which is increasingly respectful of the environment
The RAJA Group is also continuing the development of alternatives to plastic packaging, such as 100% paper bubble-padded envelopes, protective sheets in recycles fabric and isothermal paper packaging. The range of recycled and recyclable plastic packaging, part of a strategy characterised by environmental sustainability and regarding which the Group has always been seriously committed, has also been strengthened, reducing the impact of its activities, with the progressive decarbonisation of its transport fleet and the implementation of an energy efficiency plan in all the companies, with the aim of reducing annual consumption by 10%. To reinforce internal policy, finally, a new CSR and sustainable development structure pertinent to all the 26 companies in the group has been set up, which will implement a shared line of action.
For 2023 the group is expecting a further increase in revenues in all its markets and remains open to other acquisition opportunities in Europe.
