IQJET: quality marker

Sis.ma, exclusive distributor in Italy of Leibinger products, presents the latest new development: the IQJET inkjet marker.

We gathered information at interpack on the new machine from Christof Aurich, Leibinger sales director, who described the printing and coding system as set out below.

«IQJET is an extremely high-quality 8-row (48 points) inkjet marker, with innovative and distinctive features. First of all, it is the first intelligent coding and marking system, composed of 4 different smart technologies. It can operate for up to 500 hours with a single filling of the tank, which means a reduction in machine stoppages to a minimum, thereby improving production efficiency and ink consumption. It is, in any case, able to restart immediately, also after a stop of some hours. The exclusive Eco-Mode automatically seals the ink circuit when not in use, interrupting any consumption, condensing also the evaporated solvent and reissuing it into the system. This leads to a reduction of up to 50% in consumption and emissions. IQJET is also equipped with the Printhead Refresh function, which guarantees the completely automatic removal of ink from the printhead, ensuring a longer duration of the device. When the time for maintenance arrives (every 5 years!), which involves the manual cleaning of the heads, this can be carried out without special tools or previous experience, thanks to the interactive instruction videos».
