Four new developments launched at Cibus Tec 2023

For Gruppo Fabbri, the Parma event was the ideal showcase for launching an important series of developments for food retail and the packaging industry, with presentations and non-stop demos dedicated to four different technological proposals. They are the ELIXA SPE 21 and ELIXA SPC 21 wrapping machines, the TRIOplus heat-sealing machine and the NATURE LID compostable barrier film.

The ELIXA SPE 21 and ELIXA SPC 21 packing machines, developed in the context of the new partnership with Bizerba, provide a manual and automatic solution for weighing, pricing, packaging and labelling processes required by Retail. They are the first models of a series and are offered to international markets with high quality packaging materials and a complete technical assistance and spare parts service guaranteed by a unique supplier.

The TRIOplus heat-sealing machine, a compact and automatic tray-sealer that packages up to 3 different formats without the need for a die-cut change, was also a star of the show. Characterised by flexibility, hygiene, safety and simplicity of use, it uses trays and skinpads in all the most sustainable materials on the market.

With regards to the materials at Cibus Tec, the NATURE LID compostable barrier film was presented, adding to Gruppo Fabbri’s portfolio of barrier films with a compostable solution, certified by TÜV Austria according to the EN 13432 Standard and suitable for the automatic heat-seal packaging of fresh and very fresh products.
