ITP’s sustainability report 2023

ITP (Industria Termoplastica Pavese), leader in the plastic materials sector, has presented its third Sustainability Report, highlighting the results achieved and its future objectives in relation to environmental and social responsibility and governance.

2023 was a year of significant milestones for the company, such as the celebration of its first 50 years and the opening of a new cutting-edge production site. Investments in innovation also continued with the launch of the Triflex brand dedicated to advanced and highly sustainable plastic materials. These films are produced in the new site, which not only expands production capacity, but also contributes to the reduction of environmental impacts thanks to cutting-edge technologies which make it possible to minimise the use of plastic in production processes. This development forms part of the company’s commitment to make packaging increasingly recyclable, reducing the use of plastic and simplifying the structures of products in order to promote “design for recycling”.
ITP’s commitment to inclusivity has focused on the creation of an internal female Academy, aimed at promoting the entry of women into traditionally male production roles, with the intention to create a more stimulating and inclusive work environment.
As a Benefit Corporation, ITP reiterates the objective of responsible growth, combining technological innovation with inclusivity and environmental sustainability.
