PSS 4000: simplify your automation

Considered the new frontier for the automation market, the PSS 4000 control platform enables creating installations characterized by extreme decentralization of I/Os and control functions.

The electronic modules of the decentralized I/O system PSSuniversal, in addition to representing the strongpoint of field interfacing, also represent the basis for the design of the new programmable PSS 4000, PSSu PLC and PSSu multi controllers.
Indeed, these are available in various classes, for targeted solutions both in safety and in standard automation. SafetyNET p, the real time Ethernet created secure, guarantees connectivity among the plant’s control elements in order to transmit safety data, standard automation, diagnostics and visualization, toward high performance HMI, and in the near future motion control.

Among the most recent developments of Pilz’s PSS 4000 system one finds the LD (Ladder Logic) programs editor, thanks to which program logic can be intuitively managed in an easily interpretable way. That’s not all: PAS LD is part of the series of editors belonging to IEC-61131-3 standard languages, and it offers the user the possibility of programming standard and safety functions on the same standardized basis.
