Pilz’s safe automation grows

Beginning 2014 with optimism, riding the positive performance of 2013 and following the opening of three new branches in Canada, Taiwan and the Czech Republic, the growth of Pilz continues in production and sales, as shown by the construction of two new facilities in Germany and China, in which the concern has invested approximately 25 million euro.

The producer of complete solutions for safe automation has begun work on expanding its site in Ostfildern - the Pilz Campus - with the creation of the Peter Pilz logistics and production center: 15 thousand m2, built according to the most up-to-date standards and most recent knowledge in the fields of energy efficiency, noise pollution and logistical cycles of related processes.

In order to service customers in the Asian market more quickly, Pilz is also building a production site in the Chinese city of Jintan: the progress of bringing this area up to European safety standards is offering extraordinary business prospects to the German manufacturer, which employs more than 1,800 (this figure has also grown by more than 7%).
