Hygienic Design brushless motor version

The WITTENSTEIN cyber® dynamic line three-phase sinusoidal excitation mini brushless servo motors are now also available in a Hygienic Design version.

The newest version has IP66/IP67 protection rating and ensures a tight seal against strong water jets and temporary immersion, making the line perfect even in sectors where strong detergents are used in cleaning components, such as food and packaging as well as pharmaceuticals.

Features and benefits. Designed and manufactured by WITTENSTEIN cyber motor - the division of the group specialized in customized solutions with high dynamic brushless servo motors and actuators - they come in four sizes (diameters 17, 22, 32 and 40mm) for applications between 25 and 335 Watts.
The dynamic line cyber® motors are especially designed for easy insertion into tight spaces and for easier cleaning. For example, they are perfect for applications with high accelerations or characterized by short journeys with frequent speed changes, such as in pick & place applications: despite their ultra compact size they attain considerable dynamics and record torque density, enabling significant increases in production.
The exceptional torque-to-weight ratio and high efficiency also make them usable in unusual applications, such as battery powered mobile devices, substantially improving the duration of the operating cycles before recharging and hence extending functioning times.
The high torque constancy enables the reduction of cable cross-sections and use of a more compact drive, saving on space, weight and cost.
The excellent torques, compared to a small number of revolutions, make the motors highly controllable, long lasting and low noise, enabling their use also as direct drives.
The entire range has a stainless steel casing and is equipped with absolute encoder with 12-bit resolution and BISS interface, also enabling their use as a resolver. The connection to the motors is via a single connector on the rear, with the advantage of not having to also change the motor in case of cable replacement or vice versa. These micro-motors can be combined with compact WITTENSTEIN motion control simco drives, which develops mechatronic drive systems for integrated solutions. Together they form a perfect pair for use in applications where high processing and positioning standards are required.
