Marking Products Srl (exclusive distributors for Italy of the Hitachi, Matthews and Limitronic markers and coders) will be presenting their latest technological new features at Pharmintech 2013.

Marking Products highlights the components of the Matthews Viacode platform (non conventional system in inkjet marking), comprising a PCM control unit, which a series of different print units can be linked to, that in turn respond to multiple specific demands.

Some examples: the T series printhead dedicated to marking neutral cartons with wording, barcodes and bitmap graphics, with a print height of from 50 to 100 mm for each head; the L-series in turn comprises a 12.5, 25 and 50 mm high print head with a high resolution that generates extremely clear and readable marking as well as a printshop level graphics. The PCM control unit is the heart of the Viacode platform, comprising a Linux based industrial controller for which Matthews has developed a specific protocol, that enables having many different types of print units.

The Hitachi RX and PH series inkjet markers best interpret the potential of technology in terms of print quality and cost containment. Both the series have been devised to obtain maximum flexibility in industrial applications,  optimising running costs.
In particular, the RX series is the result of a great project effort, because the operations of normal maintenance - like topping  up and filter changes - are extremely simplified and do not demand the presence of specialised personnel. Present also, by Limitronic, the range of high resolution inkjet markers for porous surfaces (typically cardboard boxes) with the pluspoint of four color process printing.
