Paris Hub: fully booked and full of news.
Packaging of Perfume Cosmetic & Design (PCD) and Aerosol & Dispensing Forum (ADF), which together make up The Paris Packaging Innovation Hub, registered their greatest success yet on 3-4 February, 2016: over 6,500 experts (+20% on 2015) from concerns that use packaging for beauty products (treatments, makeup, perfumes and personal care), but also food and other products, visited 357 exhibitors (300 last year) and attended around ninety conferences on technical and market issues.
In addition to the unanimous satisfaction expressed by visitors, both in terms of the quality of information and of business contacts, the organizers of Oriex report a spike in attendance, evidenced by the long list of concerns that did not find space in the Porte Champerret exhibition area. For this reason, on January 18th and 19th, 2017, the event will relocate to the Porte de Versailles exhibition center.
The event’s layout, on the other hand, has proven itself worth repeating: two packed days of conferences designed in partnership with concerns, and an exhibition of small stands, quick and easy to visit. A lot of substance, then, together with a rigorous vetting of the general contents helped consolidate an event where sector VIPs had a chance to meet in a warm atmosphere. In order to take advantage of business opportunities overseas, Oriex unveiled its US edition this year. With the same formula, adjusted to fit the peculiarities of the American market, packaging and dispensing solution suppliers will exhibit at the Altman Building & Metropolitan Pavilion in New York on 13-14 September.
Lastly, a piece of breaking news: Oriex Communication, who conceived, developed and managed ADF & PCD since the very start, has been bought up by EFI Sa, Artexis-Easyfairs. Same philosophy and the same staff for the double show, the continuity of which will be guaranteed by the director Christelle Anya, aided during the transition period by the selfsame founders of Oriex.
