Pharmintech 2016 – Bologna, 13-April 15
13-15 April, Bologna
International and innovative, Pharmintech enjoys prestigious partnerships. The fair is organized by BolognaFiere in cooperation with Ucima and sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Development and ICE - Agenzia. It will be held on 13-15 April, 2016, when the entire supply chain will gather in Bologna for Pharma Week (13-17 April), coinciding with the 20th edition of Cosmofarma Exhibition.
Pharmintech is an exhibition for the pharmaceutical, parapharmaceutical, nutraceutical and personal care industries, offering business opportunities and updates for all operators in the sector.
Partnerships and a prize. Dino Tavazzi, CEO of Pharmintech Srl, explained what’s new at the upcoming event: «Our International Buyers Program has already confirmed qualified specialist operators from Turkey, Russia and the United States. This is the context for our fruitful collaboration with Farmindustria (which for this occasion is planning an event focused on Italian pharma and allied activities), but also with the American PMMI and AFI (Pharmaceutical Industry Association), with which we are organizing the first edition of the Pharmintech Awards: a contest dedicated to research projects in the field of pharmaceuticals. Consorzio Tefarco Innova will offer its expertise for the selection of the best research experiences».
On this topic, Prof. Alessandro Rigamonti, President of AFI, confirmed the value of this partnership: «Pharmintech represents a valuable opportunity for operators in all pharma-allied sectors to find contacts and updates, and that is why AFI, a point of reference for operators in the pharma supply chain, in addition to the pharmaceutical sector proper, particularly in production and distribution, has signed a 2015 deal with the fair organizers with the two purposes of promoting and supporting participation at the event on the part of our members (who are really the event’s “customers”), on one hand, and on the other, promoting the involvement of those customers at the AFI Symposium, an important event for the association.
We are part of Pharmintech’s steering committee, and in addition to sponsoring the event, we intend to offer the competency and professional standards of our association in order to share knowledge, stimulate discussion and promote innovation, including with the involvement of our colleagues operating at the global level».
A workroom for the supply chain. Created in partnership with ISPE and consulting by Lifebee, the project “Drug Supply Chain: the Workroom!” is focused on the technology solutions of tomorrow for the entire pharma supply chain, from production to distribution.
Taking place over the course of two sessions, the workroom is a proper demo area where visitors can witness firsthand the innovations already available for serialization, track&trace and cold chain.
