Inca’s luxury packaging business acquired by Moratti Jr
The entrepreneur Angelomario Moratti, son of former chairman of Inter Milan football club Massimo Moratti, has acquired 100% of the share capital of Inca Cosmetici.
The company, which specialises in the production of aluminium and plastic packaging for luxury cosmetics, was admitted to an arrangement with creditors by the court of Varese in June 2019. The aim of the acquisition, carried out through a newco controlled by Moratti and also partly owned by Inca Cosmetici’s new management, is to relaunch the company on a national and international level through the contribution of managerial skills and capital to increase production and improve commercial efficiency.
Based in Porto Valtravaglia (Varese), Inca was founded in the 1940s and is owned by the Faverio family. The company also has a third-party cosmetics and make-up products formulation and filling business.
