Argentina records growth in fruit exports despite the pandemic
Despite the pandemic, fruit exports through the port of San Antonio Este (SAE) located in Rio Negro, in the heart of Argentine Patagonia, rose to 88,300 tons at the end of the first quarter of the year, 5% up on the same period in 2019.
Russia remained the top export destination with imports of 35,300 tons (+13%).
The second largest overseas market was Italy with imports of 17,000 tons of fruit (+17%).
