The operation is part of the group’s broader growth programme focused on Europe as a strategic market for international expansion.
As part of this strategy, since October 2018 the company has also incorporated the German firm Thurländer.
Following these acquisitions, the Spanish group founded in 2000 now has seven production plants (four in Spain and one each in German, Switzerland and Italy) and a total of 2,300 employees.
In 2017, GAC posted a turnover of €253 million (up 5.3% on 2016).
