A billion capsules per year, zero problems

Outstanding the balance of MG2’s activities in India.

Over the past two years, the  Italian manufacturer, that designs and markets machines for dispensing in hard gelatine capsules and solutions for end-of-line, has in fact strengthened its presence on the Indian market through the successful collaboration with Zydus Cadila, an important pharmaceutical research-, manufacturing and marketing concern that also works on contract.

Zydus Cadila has entrusted part of its production to two G250 continuous-motion capsule filling machines, equipped with process NETT weight control system. For the Bologna-based company, the partnership with the Indian concern has been the “bridgehead” to a major expansion in the local market, that is seen to be thriving. In fact India is home to a large number of subcontractors and branches of multinational companies, which have relocated their production to that country. These are concerns that invest and export to the markets of the most developed countries, such as the United States. In the case of Zydus Cadila almost 40% of its revenues come from these areas.
