Series CX3 serial module
Innovation - of process and product - features as one of the pillars of the business strategy of Camozzi SpA that, within the first four months of 2015, will be presenting new solutions regarding “fieldbuses”, that are well-worth taking a look at.
This is the case of CX3, that can handle all the traditional serial communication protocols such as Profibus, CANopen and DeviceNet, and those of the new generation such as EtherCAT, Ethernet IP, Profinet, Powerlink, Sercos III.
The new electronics of the series CX3 serial module can be connected directly to all the different types of Camozzi valve islands, such as the Series H, the Series 3 and Series F (the latter initially only made in the multipole version).
It is also possible to branch out with multiple subnets from the initial CPU, each with a maximum length of 100 m, using slave devices like the Bridge and D-Sub Adapter modules, owners of the subnet.
The use of a subnet enables the connection of all the series of Camozzi valve islands, the digital input modules, digital power outlets(10 W each) and the new analog modules (0-10 V and 4- 20 mA), being able to manage along the various branches of a system up to a maximum of 1024 I/Os, scalable up to the quantity required.
The whole can be configured simply and automatically, without the aid of dedicated software. For the most demanding and expert customers a configuration software is available that opens out to countless further possibilities, enabling the customization of the entire architecture according to requirements typical to each application, also ensuring added value to the solutions chosen by customers.
