Linear machines with the advantages of rotary machines

Makro Labelling (part of the Sidel Group) designs and produces industrial labelling machines.

It has been operating in the pharma, beverage, food, home & personal care sectors for 30 years, making use of an extensive international sales network and offering an efficient pre- and post-sales assistance service, able to respond to a continuously evolving market.

Its technological new developments were described to us by Silvia Ghizzi, service manager in Makro.

«Besides the rotary machine part of our core business, the focus is on the CLeap linear machine, a new product in the range with an extra advantage: it allows for a type of application that combines the compactness of a linear machine with the pluses of rotary machines. Thanks to the agreement with B&R, our partner for electronic components, we use the Acopos Track system, which guarantees the flexibility of a rotary machine also on the linear machine. In addition, there are our vision systems, A.L.I.C.E. quality control and the RAPTOR centring system, developed by the R&D department, optionals which makes it possible to improve performances, precision and quality in the application, combined with the flexibility of the technical assistance service provided by our automation department».
