Ad hoc pre-printing for corrugated cardboard
In response to the widespread demand for quality and efficiency during pre- and post-printing stages with corrugated cardboard (not to mention cost savings), Kodak has developed a new version of Flexcel NX Wide 5080, already established in the production of “high visual impact” labels, flexible packaging, cases, bags and heatshrink sleeves.
Thanks to Kodak’s exposure technology SQUAREspot Imaging and Digicap NX Patterning, corrugated cardboard converters will also be able to benefit from the same advantages. In particular, Flexcel NX Wide 5080 enables obtaining an expanded tonal range and higher line screens, more efficient ink transfer and optimal quality yield, even on cardboards with inferior quality surface. Easy to use and highly productive, the system includes an imaging platform and a laminator of new conception for the production of plates up to 50” x 80”.
