A brief excursus on the most recent applications of the Freebox™ technology by System Packaging  highlights its innovative characteristics.

Thun’s sweet ideas boxed by Freebox™
The fantastic hand-made products of the Thun universe have been protected in robust and eco-friendly boxes which are created via System Packaging’s Freebox™ technology. Since 28th September, the company based in Bolzano - an Italian city renowned for its artistic ceramics and artefacts - builds just in time 7 boxes per minute in 4 different formats, on a 16 square-meter floor area. Thun has always paid close attention to ecological sustainability, and it has decided to turn to the value of a system guaranteeing savings of raw materials and the abolition of having to go through a large number of intermediate steps in terms of logistics and packaging. The main goal of this partnership is to move from manual building of “American-type” traditional boxes to high-tech automatic box building. Thun hand-made creations: sweet ideas transported in Freebox™ boxes.  

An encounter of excellence in the Emilia region Montana, a company of the Cremonini Group, has always been a byword of Emilian meat and cured meat, while System is a byword of innovation. They meet thanks to the Freebox™ patent for the creation of customized boxes which can contain dry-cured and cured meat packaged for department store outlets and restaurants. Freebox™’s production flexibility was selected to create customized boxes which reap considerable logistic, financial and environmental benefits.

Likoflex Okil Group acquires Freebox™ From December onwards, System Packaging’s Freebox™ will be acquired by the Likoflex Okil Group following an interesting meeting which took place during the 2012 edition of the Drupa fair. Likoflex Okil Group produces labels and distributes them in large quantities to the most famous international brands of spirits, cosmetics, foodstuffs and cleaning products. Once Freebox™ is activated, label rolls will reach their destination in Freebox™ eco-friendly and robust boxes.
