Omas: the evolution of business and technology

Omas Tecnosistemi inaugurates a new production plant in Canton Ticino (CH), thus making logistics and distribution of production more efficient. Focus on their rotary monoblocs.

Every day customer demands drive the Omas design office to study new solutions, improving aspects and features of their machines.
This is the case with their new continuous motion rotary monobloc. With its innovative design that also makes it easy to clean, it is proposed for speeds of up to 170bpm and 240bpm.
Thanks to its high quality standards, the precise mechanical movements, to the solid structure of the product contact parts in 316L or FDA approved materials (that can be fully disassembled and sanitized), the system is suitable for use for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, with versions that can also be installed in sterile areas or with laminar flow.

Two models are offered. The GRC - Rotary Capper is a 6 and 8 closing head monobloc, with 1-2-3 turrets for different types of application.
The GRFC - Rotary Filler and Capper is a 4-6-8 nozzle monobloc for filling liquid and dense products, available with ball valve syringe (rotating syringe and valve) volumetric metering station.
Omas offers many options on request: removal of faulty flacons with checking of successful outcome, servo motors for electronic adjustment of the locking head, automatic adjustment from control panel of metering station and closing station height, store of formulas and automatic machine setting, cleaning system, IQ-OQ-PQ-DQ FDA-CFR21validation protocols, plus material certification with traceability.
In time an increase in demand for both models in different versions has been observed, supplied to important brands of the Italian pharmaceutical industry but also  to international or chemical industry brands. This is the case of GRFC - Rotary Filler and Capper model, delivered to a leading Brazilian chemical company for vinyl glue filling (photo 1). The same model was delivered in March 2014 to Saudi Arabia for filling perfumes in vials ( photo 2+QR CODE).
