Adhesive application in e-commerce

Sustainable gluing systems by Robatech for shipping packaging: on live display at CCE International and in a virtual showcase. 

Efficiency, innovation and sustainability are the cornerstones of Robatech's business, which offers systems to optimize the industrial application of hot and cold glue on packaging. Thinking in particular to the packaging needs in the e-commerce field, the company proposes the latest developments related to the application of tear strips and adhesive closures on cardboard and plastic, as well as the closure of custom-made packages, aiming above all to the practicality of operations and productivity. Information during two events in March: live at the CCE International in Munich (Hall A4, Stand 2926) and during the virtual Robatech Solutions Showcase. 

Open & close. Shipping boxes and envelopes are easy to open thanks to tear strips and easy to close thanks to adhesive closures. Robatech's new coating head applies the adhesive so precisely that packaging manufacturers can directly bond tear strips and adhesive closures to packages even at high speeds.

For on-demand, modular solutions. The trend towards so-called on-demand packaging, i.e. customized shipping packages, requires flexible solutions for adhesive application. Robatech's system components are modular, so that each user can assemble his own adhesive application system, benefiting from Robatech's many years of experience in the packaging industry.
