Web 4.0: digital print system for in-house printing

At Pack Expo Hapa presented its the Web 4.0 printing system for web-fed materials. At home in a digital Industry 4.0 factory, the system is future-proof, uptime-friendly, and connects seamlessly with digital workflow.

Thanks to Hapa’s know-how and experience, the Web 4.0 is scalable, flexible, and ergonomic. Easy to setup, operate, and maintain, the system integrates onto existing or new packaging lines or operates roll-to-roll. Scalable, the platform’s digital printing module future-proofs production lines: its capability can be increased from single to six spot colors or WCMYK, plus lacquer. A LED curing unit polymerizes the inks immediately and a flush function ensures that the print module can be placed on standby for extended periods. Printhead maintenance is automatic so that no production time is lost to manual cleaning.
