A180C: a debut with style and versatility

FamarTec, the historic company specialised in the design and production of automatic machines for pharmaceutical packaging, presents at CPHI Milan a preview of its latest creation in the field of horizontal packaging machines: the A180C.

The new machine fills a gap in FamarTec’s production range: thanks to the continuous movement, with an operating speed of up to 180 boxes a minute, the A180C is positioned, in fact, exactly half-way between the A1 series of alternating packaging machines (up to 100 boxes a minute) and the high production A330C model (up to 300 boxes a minute).

Efficient and ergonomic. Conceived to pack products in pre-glued boxes with interlocking or glued closures, it stands out for its versatility and simplicity of use. Equipped with a simple and intuitive multilingual HMI, the A180C is also predisposed for various automatic feeding systems, depending on the type of product to be packed.

The A180C has various technical advantages, including small dimensions, reduced energy consumption and the use of servo-motors that ensure efficient and economic functioning. The ergonomic design facilitates the loading of the packaging materials, while the high-capacity box storage area guarantees high operating autonomy without interruptions.

The format change is facilitated by digital indicators and millimetre scales. The toothed belt transmissions don’t require maintenance, optimising operating efficiency. The three-arm rotary head has been engineered for the continuous volumetric massing of the boxes, preserving their integrity during the entire process.

Complying with the CE and GMP standards, the A180C has a balcony structure to facilitate access, maintenance and cleaning operations and has numerous safety functions and detection systems for the correct pick-up of the boxes and the information sheets. It also has a remote control system that ensures a rapid and efficient support.

Scheduled in Milan, in the international context of CPHI (8-10 October), the A180C’s debut will an opportunity to explore the innovative functionalities of the machine and learn about FAMAR TEC’s range for pharmaceutical packaging.
