Thanks to the new ABIflexx Wide delta robot offered by KEBA, wrapping stations can now be super compact. Its asymmetrical design in fact enables the devising of unique layouts, where single mechanical parts are set very close to each other.
Another advantage of the Wide version is its special oval shape of the work area, that enables the optimum pick-up of products, offering an increase in productivity. The FDA approved design and mechanics make this robot particularly suited for the food sector.

Intelligent Motion: speed and energy saving. Intelligent Motion is a mix of functionalities within the KeMotion Robotic control, guaranteeing high performance (up to 220 pieces/min for an ISO cycle). In particular its “look-ahead” feature enables a predictive control of movements in space, which enables the optimisation of speed, acceleration, sharp jerks as well as kinematic movements, that can thus be calculated and optimised ahead of time considering the physical limits.
In this way “useless” mechanical wear is avoided, resulting in an approx 10% reduction in energy consumption combined with a 15% increase in performance and productivity.
Robot vibrations are drastically reduced, which enables the longer life of the mechanical components and savings on maintenance costs.

Simple to personalize. The system comprises ABIflexx kinematics and KeMotion KEBA control, supplied as separate components, that the end customer may integrate on machines and production lines to suit their given needs. On top of that the KeStudio ViewEdit display software enables the graphic pages to be draughted to customer and company design demands. The same HMI platform comprises fixed and mobile panels.

KeMotion aimed for packaging.
