Coding and identification with added value

A new range of coders with continuous inkjet, thermal ink jet and laser technologies, not to mention the innovative code integrity solution CLARiSUITE: the many Videojet Technologies solutions presented at Emballage met with excitement and interest among visitors. The exhibitor’s strategic position and large, bright, elegant and striking stand did the rest, such that at the end of the event, 600 operators enjoyed a professional welcome.

Videojet’s participation was not limited to the exhibition space the concern set up or to the range of coders on show.

Launched by Videojet during the last months of the year, the coders 1550 and 1650 (1) are presented as the new frontier in continuous inkjet (CIJ) coding and feature a Clarity touchscreen interface. Designed with new characteristics that enhance productivity and profitability, these printers enable monitoring availability and measuring and improving overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and productivity.
Easy to use, they also include the code integrity function (reducing coding errors guarantees that the correct codes are always printed on the products).

• Also in the field of inkjet marking, Videojet presented the new 8510 (2), top of the range in its thermal inkjet (TIJ) offer, suitable for primary and secondary coding: extremely user friendly, it is capable of combining all the advantages of high resolution HP® print technology with an 8.4 inch touchscreen interface that features an intuitive menu, guaranteeing quick and error-free setup.

• As for laser marking, the new marker Videojet 3020 (3) proves suitable for simple marking and coding applications on industrial and mass consumption goods. This 10 watt CO2 laser applies high quality codes at low and medium speeds, with very low operational costs. The accessible and compact “single block” model guarantees maximum ease of use, simple configuration, quick installation and smooth line changeovers.

• Lastly, the French salon saw well-deserved prominence for CLARiSUITE, an innovative software solution that enables maximum simplification of production process management, with an excellent profits/investment ratio. Implementation of an effective code integrity solution such as CLARiSUITE guarantees improved consistency in coding accuracy and traceability.
