40 years in motion control
Control Techniques (an Emerson Industrial Automation Group company) that produces solutions and technologies for motion control, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
The company, based in the UK, in fact founded October 4th, 1973 under the name KTK, turned into a Control Techniques December 9th, 1985. In November 30th, 1994 the company was bought up by Emerson (NYSE: EMR).
At the basis of its business strategy, the idea of designing drives and solutions to enhance the productivity of the machines and processes of its customers.
Enrique Miñarro Viseras, President of Control Techniques, declares himself proud of his company and expresses words of heartfelt thanks to all employees for their hard work, thanks to which Control Techniques has become a world leader with a rich history of success. «Last year, Control Techniques launched Unidrive M, the first family of converters specifically dedicated to the market of production automation and, in the near future, the company will market a new range of products, targeted to each of the other major markets. Control Techniques has production, engineering and design centers in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, China and India, as well as sales offices in more than 100 countries. Currently the company has a workforce of approximately 1,971 people.
