Gew, manufacturer of UV curing systems, has presented VCP, a new model of UV lamp with IR (infra-red) system specifically for use with water-based inks. Via touchscreen panel it  automatically recognizes if a particular job requires UV or IR treatment.

EFI has developed Jetrion 4900, a new UV inkjet label printing machine, which goes straight from the print file to the finished roll without interruption. Hence an efficient end-to-end solution that handles printing and finishing in single pass.
